چکیده

In order to reveal the mineral filling sequence and fluid action process in dissolution pores of bedded siliceous rocks Dongrong Formation Sanjiang Basin, petrological characteristics, geochemical analysis testing methods were comprehensively applied research, databases major amount rare earth elements established, sedimentary environment, origin source materials systematically judged again. The results show that Nadanhada terrane exposed Basin are biogenic. On basis early metasomatic microbial dolomite, layered have experienced six stages (three properties) filling, including magnesium rich hydrothermal fluid, asphalt fluid. Siliceous rock cavity material is product coupling under different temperatures, concentrations reaction systems control tectonic movements hydrocarbon maturation.

Distribution, Microfabric, and Geochemical Characteristics of Siliceous Rocks in Central Orogenic Belt, China: Implications for a Hydrothermal Sedimentation Model

Marine siliceous rocks are widely distributed in the central orogenic belt (COB) of China and have a close connection to the geological evolution and metallogenesis. They display periodic distributions from Mesoproterozoic to Jurassic with positive peaks in the Mesoproterozoic, Cambrian--Ordovician, and Carboniferous--Permian and their deposition is enhanced by the tensional geological settings...

Pore-Scale Modeling of Pore Structure Effects on P-Wave Scattering Attenuation in Dry Rocks

Underground rocks usually have complex pore system with a variety of pore types and a wide range of pore size. The effects of pore structure on elastic wave attenuation cannot be neglected. We investigated the pore structure effects on P-wave scattering attenuation in dry rocks by pore-scale modeling based on the wave theory and the similarity principle. Our modeling results indicate that pore ...

Shock metamorphism of siliceous volcanic rocks of the El’gygytgyn impact crater (Chukotka, Russia)

The 18-km-diameter El’gygytgyn crater is located on the Chukotka peninsula, northeastern Russia. It represents the only currently known impact structure formed in siliceous volcanics, including tuffs. The impact melt rocks and target rocks provide an excellent opportunity to study shock metamorphism of volcanic rocks. The shockinduced changes observed in porphyritic volcanic rocks from El’gygyt...

Testing for the presence of a terrane boundary within Neoproterozoic (Dalradian) to Cambrian siliceous turbidites at Callander, Perthshire, Scotland

The Southern Highland Group (Dalradian) and Keltie Water Grit Formation, which includes the Lower Cambrian Leny Limestone, form an inverted, 1.4 km thick, largely arenaceous, sequence at Callander. The grits have the same detrital mineralogy throughout, mainly quartz, plagioclase (An1–3), muscovite, and biotite. Chlorite formed from detrital biotite during low-grade regional metamorphism (T<270...

Geochemistry of intermediate to siliceous volcanic rocks of the Rooiberg Group, Bushveld Magmatic Province, South Africa

The volcanic Rooiberg Group represents the earliest phase of Bushveld-related magmatism and comprises, in some areas, the floor and roof rocks of the mafic–ultramafic intrusive units of the Bushveld Complex. The lower to middle Dullstroom Formation is composed of two interbedded series of low Ti and high Ti volcanic strata, which are predominantly basaltic andesites. Volcanic units above these ...
